Let the Olympic Games Inspire You

With the eyes of the world watching, some of the Globe’s most amazing athletes are about to embark on the sporting event of a lifetime. The 2008 Summer Olympic Games are set to begin on August 8 in China. And while we celebrate the achievements of the athletes (aided by such governing bodies as the United States Olympic Committee, and the United States Equestrian Team Foundation), we hope that the plight of the May 12, 2008 China earthquake victims is not forgotten. In addition, let the people whose feats of athleticism will flood our television sets in the coming weeks inspire us to reach out to those athletes whose accomplishments may never be celebrated in the global spotlight.
