Food Bank Bailout for New Jersey

As part of a New Jersey energy assistance bill, food banks in New Jersey that have been hit hard by increased demand and economic hardships will receive $3 million in funds. New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine plans to sign a food, energy assistance bill which totals $22.5 million. The balance of the funds will go to those who are having difficulties paying their utility bills and those facing foreclosure.
