Earthquake in Italy - Dozens Dead, Thousands Hurt, Even More Homeless

Today, a powerful earthquake struck the city of L'Aquila in central Italy, northeast of Rome. The 4-star charity, Save the Children, is sending a team of experts to provide help to the children affected by the earthquake.

We will update this post as we become aware of other charities providing assistance.

Tuesday's Update: Operation Blessing is sending its director of international disaster relief, David Darg, who led the organization's earthquake relief efforts in China, to assist with the relief efforts in Italy.
