Artists for Humanity
☆☆☆ + Impact
Creative jobs for creative youth

Artists For Humanity's (AFH) mission is to bridge economic, racial and social divisions by providing under-resourced youth with the keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment in art and design. AFH tackles the myriad of problems youth face today with tremendous impact. We celebrate the talents and wonderful energy of young people by giving them hands-on experiences in creativity, business, teamwork, and self-governance. Participants learn the techniques and tools of professional artists and the business world while engaging in education, employment, artistic exploration, and entrepreneurial experience. This produces life-transforming change for youth and for their communities.

P.S. Arts
☆☆☆ + Impact
Improving the lives of children by providing arts education

P.S. ARTS is dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing arts education to underserved public schools and communities. P.S. ARTS is the only organization in Southern and Central California that provides yearlong arts education in dance, music, theater, and visual arts to every child in a school during the regular school day. Without our programs, children in these underfunded school districts would not have access to the arts. P.S. ARTS also coordinates with school administrators and parent groups to provide community outreach services designed to increase the community's capacity to advocate for educational equity and to provide critical cultural experiences for the entire family. P.S. ARTS programs help level the educational playing field by teaching creative and cognitive skills to students struggling to overcome economic, ability, or literacy barriers that will better equip them to be competitive and successful people.

Chrysler Museum of Art
☆☆☆
Bringing art and people together to enrich and transform lives

Founded in 1939 as the Norfolk Museum of Arts and Sciences, the Chrysler Museum of Art combines one of America's great fine arts museums and two significant historic houses. In addition to maintaining a distinguished permanent collection of 30,000 objects spanning nearly 5,000 years history, the Chrysler offers a comprehensive program of changing exhibitions and education activities for visitors of all ages. Our goal is to bring people and original works of art together. We believe that a visit to a museum should be both educational, providing visitors with a chance to learn more about themselves and their world, and fun.
