The Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation was founded in 1999 by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society which consists exclusively of the living Medal of Honor recipients. The mission of the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation is to perpetuate the Medal of Honor's legacy through outreach and collaborative efforts, raise funds for initiatives that promote what the Medal of Honor represents, operation of the Congressional Medal of Honor Society headquarters and the public service activities of the Society's exclusive membership, and to promote American values and the qualities of courage, sacrifice and patriotism through increased awareness, education, behavior and example.

Amazon Conservation Association

Conserving the biological diversity of the Amazon Basin

Founded in 1999, the Amazon Conservation Association works to conserve the biological diversity of the Amazon. They strive to protect biodiversity by studying ecosystems and developing innovative conservation tools to protect land in the region while supporting the livelihoods of local communities. The Association works by forging ties with governments, nonprofits and people who depend on the rainforests for their livelihood, with the goal of saving rare species and habitats and learning from the land. Scientific research guides their approach, which strives for concrete, measurable achievements.

Cystic Fibrosis Research, Inc.

Adding tomorrows every day

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was established in 1955 to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease. The Foundation is the leading organization in the United States devoted to curing cystic fibrosis and supporting individuals diagnosed with it. It funds and accredits more than 115 cystic fibrosis care centers, 95 adult care programs, and 50 affiliate programs, and has 80 chapters and branch offices nationwide. Cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide).

Habitat for Humanity of Collier County

Our vision is a world where everyone has a simple, decent place to live

One of the oldest affiliates in the nation, Habitat for Humanity of Collier County has been building homes and serving families in their Florida community since 1978. Building at a pace of 100 homes a year since 2002, Habitat Collier has now provided simple, decent homes for more than 1,800 families. Through its unique business model, Habitat for Humanity of Collier County uses 100% of donor dollars to fund the construction of homes, which are then sold to qualifying partner families. Each family helps to build and then purchase their home with an interest-free loan, thereby returning the original investment in their lives. This "hand-up" structure allows families to become a part of their own housing solution.

Challenge Aspen

Making possibilities for people with disabilities

Challenge Aspen is dedicated to impacting lives by presenting meaningful recreational, educational and cultural experiences to individuals faced with cognitive and/or physical challenges. Through the years, seasonal camps and retreats have become a large outreach of Challenge Aspen. These unique and fun experiences include learn-to-ski camps, specialized programs for people living with autism, retreats for injured military servicemen and women which include their family members and children's art and music camps in the summertime. The aim of Challenge Aspen is to carefully orchestrate life-changing adventures, giving participants the courage to learn something new, trust their own abilities and carry that ideal forward, reaching toward goals in other areas of their lives.

North Helpline

Making sure our neighbors have food on the table and a roof over their heads

North Helpline was started in 1989 by a small group of volunteers who noticed that many of their neighbors were not able to pay their rent, cover their utility bills and put food on the table because their paychecks didn't stretch that far. These friends began collecting food and financial support to distribute to those most in need in their community. The initial group grew to 600+ volunteers who contribute over 2000 hours of work monthly. North Helpline now provides critical human services to over 1700 clients each week in an effort to reduce the impact of hunger and poverty in the Greater North Seattle Area.

The Association for India's Development (AID) is a volunteer movement committed to promoting sustainable, equitable and just development. AID supports grassroots organizations in India and initiates efforts in various interconnected spheres such as education, livelihoods, natural resources including land, water and energy, agriculture, health, women's empowerment, and social justice. Founded in 1991, AID has 36 chapters in the United States, approximately 1,000 volunteers, has supported 365 projects, and has 100 ongoing projects.

Meds & Food for Kids☆☆☆☆ + Impact
Saving the lives of Haiti’s malnourished children

Meds & Food for Kids is dedicated to saving the lives of Haiti's malnourished children and other nutritionally vulnerable people. They accomplish their mission by developing, producing, and distributing highly nutritious foods, including the gold-standard Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food. They make their food products in Haiti, using Haitian workers and, whenever possible, Haitian raw materials. Haitians call their food 'Medika Mamba,’ or 'Peanut Butter Medicine' in Creole.

Tri County Humane Society

Rescue is what we do

The Tri County Humane Society is a no-kill organization dedicated to saving animals. They try to stop the killing over 45,000 unwanted pets in Broward County, 65,000 in Miami-Dade County, and 60,000 in Palm Beach County each year. They hope to place as many as possible in our no-kill shelter and find them wonderful loving homes. Tri County rescues thousands of pups, cats, dogs, and kittens each year that were on death row ready to be euthanized.
